Our Story – The Origin of Kemeho First Lady

I was born in Africa, where Black beauty was an obvious truth. The women around me proudly wore their natural hair, and their skin radiated under the sun. There, I never questioned whether my skin color could be a problem.

But as I grew up elsewhere, I realized that beauty standards did not always include us. Finding healthy products suited to my skin and hair was a challenge, as if our beauty was secondary. This realization led me to a deep reflection: Why should we adapt to norms that do not celebrate us?

It was by observing my mother, a strong woman proud of her identity, that I understood the importance of self-acceptance and embracing our heritage. Inspired by her example, I decided to create Kemeho First Lady, a brand that celebrates our natural beauty with elegance and authenticity.
